Worland Mob Event

We are making our plans for the Worland event this weekend and hoping that the weather doesn't affect this one like it has on at least 3 this winter and spring. From what we are told right now, there is a chance of rain on Saturday but Sunday should be much better here but haven't checked for Worland yet. Rain we can handle, snow is something we have to take under consideration. We made reservations at a Worland motel so we can spend the night and continue caching in Worland and Thermopolis on Sunday before heading home. We are looking forward to getting together with a few old friends and making some new friend as well. We hope everybody who can make it does and this is a very successful event. Hope to see you there!

Well, just as we were concerned about, we had to deal with bad roads on our trip to Worland on Saturday morning. Luckily, we only dealt with bad weather from about Lamont to the base of Beaver Rim. The rest of the way and the rest of the weekend was actually very nice, especially Sunday. The event was fun and we had lots of success finding caches (50 on Saturday and 13 on Sunday). I wish there was some mechanism at this type event to gather someplace where we could visit and perhaps exchange TB's and coins, there just is not enough time to meet many new people in the 15 minutes alloted.
